So…

NOBODY told me how hard parenting would be?

Or maybe they did. Perhaps I was so caught up in the cuteness of becoming a mom, maybe I didn’t listen.

I don’t remember.

The past 16 years of motherhood is feeling like a blur of emotions today.

I’m glad I know Jesus, ya’ll!

I’ll leave it at that.

A few days ago, I was complaining to God about someone, but I was calling it prayer. God has a sense of humor because He didn’t respond to my complaining.

Well, technically, He did…

I opened my Victorious devotional and landed on a passage that dirctly related to complaining about people. In essence, God used the devotional to remind me that I can’t control people. All I can control is my attitude and activity.

As a result, I repented and changed my attitude. God doesn’t want us to focus on other people. That’s being a Pharisee. I’m not a Pharisee. He wants us to be conformed more and more into His image, which might mean properly processing times of frustration.

Don’t complain.

Change.
