The Power of Redundancy

Last week, I read an interesting passage in a book that talked about the importance of repeating spiritual patterns for long term victory. I loved that. Often times as Christians, we believe we need fireworks from Heaven to solidify our walk of faith.

However, that’s not true. We need a daily consistent, diet of God and His word in order to live a victorious life. Consider this: Spending 30 minutes a day with God is actually 10,950 minutes a year in His presence. What could happen to you if you invested that time? Think about it…

“He sat down and summoned the Twelve. “So you want first place? Then take the last place. Be the servant of all.” (Mark 9:35 The Message)

Faith Check!

Recently I had a tremendous revelation about my faith.

I realized my “faith walk” wasn’t as strong as I professed it to be. I had the externals in place. I prayed. I studied. I confessed. Yet I wasn’t getting the results.

At the end of the day, the Lord showed me that even though I believed in Him, I didn’t BELIEVE Him. My confessions have changed and I’ve challenged myself to go to a deeper level in my faith walk with Him.

It’s amazing what can happen when you really begin to believe God. How’s your faith?
