A Year of Moving Forward

Let’s try something different.

As you know, this time of year everyone is setting goals, looking forward, and making resolutions.

Well today’s blog is not about that.

I want to talk about finishing.

Finishing strong.

So let’s pretend it’s actually December 31st. I know it can be a stretch but it’ll be worth it. I won’t tell you this year will be easy. Nor will I tell you that if you set your goals and work hard, you’ll feel great on December 31st.

Here’s what I can tell you: YOU ARE NOT STUCK!

God loves you and because of His love for you, he designed you to win and succeed at whatever you put your mind to.

So when things get tough and you feel like giving up this year… remember to KEEP MOVING… Move. Move. Move.

More to come!

I love you and I believe in you.

Your Sister,

Kimyetta

A Simple Piece of Candy

Today I’m looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving with my family. Like most of you, I’ll eat a lot of food and spend time having fun with my loved ones.

This morning, I thought about a time in my life when I didn’t have food and was very close to losing my apartment in New York. It was hard. My husband and I had about $3.15 for one week of groceries for the two of us. Often times, I’d go to our car and feel under the seats, the floor, the glove compartment looking for change in order to buy more food.

One day, as I ran my hand under the seat cushions I found a piece of candy that had fallen. I was hungry, tired and broke. I blessed the candy and ate it and thanked God for providing it. I promised God that I’d always be grateful for even the smallest of things.

As a Christian… and as a human… no one is supposed to live that way. No one. So although, we haven’t reached our ultimate goals, we’re certainly grateful we’re no longer on the $3 grocery budget. GLORY TO GOD!!!

I’m pressing on and pressing forward… join me!

I love you and I’m praying for you!

The Smell of Victory

Can you smell victory on the horizon?

Have you been down so long that you forgot what it feels like to smell or even taste victory?

I’ve been there.

Victory used to be my middle name. However, I hit a season of pure defeat, detriment and lack.

Well, glory be to God… that season of my life is over.

I encourage you to put away everything that’s holding you back and smell the sweet flavor of victory in the air. Jesus died for you to experience victory everyday, all the time.  GLORY!!!!!!

Can’t you smell your victory on the horizon? I can…

I’m praying for you and I love you!

The Favor Factor

I love hearing about God’s favor operating in people’s lives.

I remember hearing a Minister say “favor is not fair.” I didn’t quite understand it at first, but the more I study favor, I can see what he means.

In essence, when God moves in your life in a supernatural way to bless you, then you know favor is operating.  I love the scripture in 2 Corinthians 9:8 (AMP) which says God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessings) come to you!

GLORY! GLORY! Think about that statement. The God of the Universe has authority to bring EVERY favor to you.

You don’t have to look for it. Search for it. Scheme for it. Shout for it. He’s able to bring it right to your doorstep.

Get ready to receive my friends!
