Mommy Moments

“Dear Mom I love you. You are the best mom I never met. I will never give up on you.”

Those were the words on a letter that my six-year old son wrote me last month. I placed the letter on my desk at work. It provides inspiration throughout my day because I can see God’s love shining through my first-born child.

The sweet innocence of his note using the word “never” instead of “ever” makes me smile. That’s one of many “mommy moments” that helps me thrive. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

If you are a mother or guardian, are you cherishing such moments? Or are you so caught up in the day-to-day grind that you’re missing out. Stop. Breathe. Cherish what you have. This life is a vapor. God Bless You and Your families! I’m praying for you!

The Exceptional Wife

In a few days I’ll welcome my third child into the world and in a few months, I’ll celebrate my 11th Wedding Anniversary.

With the birth of each of my children, I’ve had to grow as a mother AND a wife.

Right now, I’m saturating myself in the Word because I want to be an exceptional wife to my man, even with a third child to raise. I’m pressing in and pressing forth to take hold of God’s promises… join me!

Enjoy this video from one of my favorite marriage teachers, Jimmy Evans. I’m praying for your freedom!

Are You Pregnant Too?

I have a loaded question for you.

Are you pregnant?

I know that seems silly, but I really want to know.

You see, I’m moments away from giving birth to my daughter.  It’s certainly exciting to know that God has chosen me as a vessel of life, for the third time.  However, this pregnancy has birthed a physical AND spiritual baby. It’s birthed a newness and drive in me to pursue God’s ultimate plan for my life.

That’s what I want for you. That’s my prayer for you.

Think about it.

Are you living the life you want to live?  Do you spend your time passionately pursuing your purpose?

Please know that God has given you a “baby”, but it’s up to you to birth it, nurture it and nourish it.  Don’t let your dreams and passions die in a graveyard of mediocrity.

It’s never too late to give birth! Never.

I love you and I’m praying for you!

Custom Made or Maid

Sanja Gjenero

When I decided to become a wife and mother, I challenged myself to be excellent. And while I’m not exactly the Proverbs 31 woman, I’m certainly not too shabby either. My mom is an example of a Proverbs 31 woman. I call her the black Martha Stewart because she can do everything imaginable as a homemaker and wife. Me… let’s just say, I’m good at typing. 🙂

Do I feel bad that I’m not a perfect homemaker? Not anymore. In fact, I feel great. Why? Because God gave me the husband and children I have for me and no one else. I am custom-made for them and I know it. So please don’t feel insecure or inadequate about your shortcomings.

God ordained you to be you and no one else. You are a custom-made for your assignment in life. Now, live it to its fullest.
