Compelled…

I wasn’t sure what to write tonight. However, the word “compelled” came to mind. I know that isn’t a word that people use in daily vernacular, however, I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately. This year, 2020, will mark an interesting year for me. You see, I feel compelled to relentlessly pursue the will of God, while I also struggle with self-doubt and fears. I feel compelled to give God everything I have, while still doubtful whether I’m good enough. Today I decided that I will be driven by faith and not fear. Being compelled to follow God’s will is not scary. In fact, being compelled simply represents an opportunity a person has to press past feelings and move in faith. What is God calling you to do? Are you afraid? Are you doubting? Don’t doubt. Go, go, go… God will never leave your, nor forsake you.

Is Confidence the Key???

I used to get confidence and cockiness confused a lot.

I learned the hard way, that God doesn’t want me to rely on my gifts or ability alone.

My primary reliance should always be on Him and His ability working through me.

That doesn’t mean I’m supposed to sit around and hope for things to improve. I have a part to play in my success in life.

The beauty of being a Christian is that “my part” or “my gifts” or “my anointing” isn’t about me or for me. My gifts are from God for Him to use any way he wants… I repeat… HE WILL USE YOU ANYWAY HE WANTS.

There’s no confusion anymore.

Being confident is all about knowing who I am in Christ and allowing his supernatural ability to guide me to my destiny as I serve Him, my family and mankind.

I’m meditating on Jeremiah 29:11 and Ephesians 3:20. Join me.

I love you and I’m praying for you.

MIND RENEWAL: Day 1- Carrying Destiny!

Yesterday, I read this quote about Eve from the book of Genesis:

“Eve knew the emptiness, the anguish of remembering what she was designed to be without the possibility of becoming all she was meant to be.”

WOW! Scary, scary thought…

This is our starting point my friends… I’m beginning this journey of mind renewal with the end in mind.

Why renew my mind every day?

Because my DESTINY and the DESTINY of others is at stake.
Think about it… what do you want so badly that you’ll sacrifice selfish pleasures today, for God’s great destiny tomorrow?

More to come… I love you and I’m praying for you.
