The Process

What comes to mind when you read the words, “The Process?”

Does your mind automatically think of something arduous, hard or tough?

Sure it does…

However, what if the phrase, “The Process” represented more positive words, such as “transformation”, “new”, or “fresh!”

That’s my attitude… if we embrace the process that God is taking us through then maybe our process will be positive. If we embrace these two small words with a growth mindset, then chances are we’re opening the door for great change in our lives.

Thank about it!

Your sister and servant,

Kimyetta

Celebrating

Today is my 47th birthday! I usually don’t ever mention my birthday outside of talking to my husband (and maybe my mom). But the last 12 months have been amazing.

I’m so grateful for my relationship with the Lord Jesus!

I’m so grateful for my life.

I’m so grateful for my family and friends.

I’m so grateful for each of you. I love having the honor to serve you in ministry.

It is truly a dream come true.

I decided to celebrate by releasing my very first prayer video… have a fantastic day!

Love Week

Recently I celebrated “LOVE” on my YouTube channel. It wasn’t popular in terms of views, but I felt so full because I prayed through so many aspects of love in our lives.

One of the hardest things to do is also one of the greatest commandments from Jesus…DIRECTLY!

Love your enemies…

It’s not easy, but we can do it through Christ.

Enjoy the prayer…

Yes, He can…

Did you know your prayers don’t die? They live on… every time I drive into my neighborhood or pull into my driveway, I think about that. My prayers for a much nicer community and home were prayed for several years before they manifested a few years.

Don’t give up.

Don’t stop praying…

Your prayers don’t die… they live!

God can do it!!!

My prayer for Simone

My husband and I have been praying for Simone Biles for a few days. She pulled out of the Olympics Team Competition and All-Around Competition citing “mental health” concerns. She even used the phrase “demons in her head.” I don’t know anything about Simone’s faith life. I’ve never heard her mention Jesus in interviews before.

People are debating whether she “quit” on her team.

I’m not here to talk about that.

I’m here to talk about the advantage we have as Believers when we’re having mental breakdowns. We can run to Jesus. All day. Every day.

I know there are people who are Christians who still struggle… that’s life. We ALL struggle in our minds.

But all I kept thinking while watching her press conference… “Lord, you’re as near as we want you to be!”

Mental health issues are real. And so is Jesus.

This doesn’t negate medicine or professional help.

Not at all.

But my HOPE and BELIEF is in JESUS more than anything else.

My prayer is for Simone (and for anyone) struggling with mental health issues to truly lay everything at the feet of Jesus and cry out to Him with a holy roar for a change. Don’t let up.

I know God cares and I know He hears…keep your HOPE in HIM!
