I know my title is quite odd, but I started typing the word consecration and I got completely thrown off. Isn’t that what happens when we attempt to consecrate ourselves for (and to) God. Consecration simply means setting apart for a holy and solem reasons or to fully dedicate yourself. Recetly the Loard laid it on my heart and I decided to do it for the the first day of August. I don’t consider myself a fearful person- at all. I think I’m pretty bold and courageous. However, recently while working on my new business, Victorious Connections Institute, I realized I had a hidden fear of failure that was dragging me down.
I’ am confessing lots of fear scriptures and seeking the Lord between my tears. I won’t say I’m entirely free of fear, but I’ve decided I must roll with my business, even if I’m afraid. How about you? Is God calling you to do something, and you’re afraid of failure or disappointing God? If so, what are you doing about it? Don’t let the enemy attack your mind! Fight fear with God’s Word! Let’s go! Your sister and servant, Kimyetta
Last week I recorded a Youtube video that focused on the simplicity of Christianity:
Love Jesus. Love Your Neighbor.
We can’t love our neighbor if we don’t truly love Jesus. Jesus isn’t interested in our performance or accolades. He’s interested in us. All of us.
So, where are you in your walk with Him?
Do you love Him, or do you like what He can do for you?
Here’s a tip: Wake up every day and say, “Jesus, I love you” before you do anything else. I recommend saying it while lying in bed. I usually tell Him a good morning, and then I tell Him how much I love and appreciate Him.
Do I have prayer requests?
YES! YES! YES! I have some SUPER BIG requests right now.
However, I want God to know that He’s more important than anything, including my requests.
I pray all is well with you and your family and you are choosing to seek God early and often during the current pandemic.
A few days ago, I was preparinng to pray for healing on my Youtube channel. However, the Lord prompted me to pray for President Trump. (I decided to stay away from media reports for a few days, so I didn’t know anything about the disenfectant talk.) Well, I did it and I hope it encourages others to pray for our President. Trust Jesus!
