Underground FEAR!

Fear is a topic I don’t write about often because I consider myself a pretty fearless person. From birth, I’ve been rather strong-willed and bold. Yet I realized fear is a sneaky topic that can ensnare even the boldest person.

I remember standing in line in my 3rd-grade class during our Halloween party. I was panic-stricken because the library was turned into a haunted house that we had to enter to get into the party. As I got closer and closer to entering the door, my heart pounded so intensely, I could
not move. As my teacher approached me, I burst into tears because I didn’t want to go in.

She was shocked and so was my class because I was known for being the boldest and loudest, most outspoken person in the class. (I know that’s hard to imagine, right?)

Ms. Moore grabbed my hand and attempted to encourage me but I had no interest in entering that haunted house. I stood on the side of the door and waited for my class to go in.

Looking back, I realized I had a fear of monsters buried deep inside that I never thought about until that moment. Isn’t that interesting? What fears are hiding deep within that you don’t think about?

Pray and ask God to reveal any hidden fears that the enemy might try to use against you.

You are fearless sister!

Your sister and servant,

Kimyetta

MIND RENEWAL Day 42: Hearing from God Part 2

Last night I started a series on HEARING FROM GOD. It wasn’t anything I planned, however, I believe I’m doing what God wants me to do.
If you are facing a MAJOR decision right now, I encourage you to listen to last night’s radio blog to ensure you’re on the right track.
I’m “working the word” on my own (1 Cor. 1:30, Psalm 32:8) so I can make sure I don’t miss God!

Join me on this journey!
I love you and I’m praying for you!

MIND RENEWAL Day 21: Who Are You?

Today my husband and I had an intense conversation about identity. We talked about how “life’s issues” can drag you down to the point of losing that special feeling inside of you.

You know that feeling you had when you believed you could conquer the world, start a business, raise a family, land a job, lose the weight, start a ministry, etc.

Don’t ever forget who you are my friends?

Don’t let ANYBODY or ANYTHING drag you in the mud.

You are SPECIAL. You are GREAT! You have a unique gift from God.

Don’t let life run you over and drag you around. YOU CAN DO LIFE… DON’T LET LIFE DO YOU!!!

(I’m pretty pumped right now, so I think I’ll record a radio blog about this tomorrow… more to come!)
I love you and I’m praying for you!

MIND RENEWAL: DAY 6- All About You

For the past two days I’ve been singing this amazing song by Israel. I’ve listened to this

about 25 times today because I didn’t have enough words to talk about how I felt. This song

helped me along my journey. At the end of the day… it’s all about Him… 24/7… day in and

day out.

I hope you like it.

Let me know.

Enjoy!

MIND RENEWAL: DAY 4- WORD on it!

Yesterday I mentioned I’d share a personal story that’s causing me to renew my mind in a special way.

However, I’d much rather share this story verbally so look out for a radio or video post in a few days about it. In the mean time, here’s the scripture I’ve been “chewing on” about this situation. It’s Proverbs 119:165:
“Great peace have they who love Your law; nothing shall offend them or make them stumble.”

Heavy, heavy, heavy… when I read this I was speechless. I’m so grateful that God’s grace is all I need to help me walk out this Word in order to renew my mind.

Great peace … great peace… great peace…

More to come… I love you and I’m praying for you!

Blessings,

Kimyetta
