Celebrating Pink Laundry

Yes. This is a picture of a laundry basket. I know it’s a little strange but bear with me for a moment.

Recently, I celebrated my 37th birthday. I remember thinking 37 was old… real old. 🙂

Like many of you, I had certain goals and dreams that I thought I would’ve accomplished by a certain age and for me, that didn’t include doing laundry every weekend.

However, today while staring at a basket of pink laundry, I’m actually celebrating. Because the laundry belongs to my beautiful baby girl. She’s only three months-old now, but her mere existence has fired me up.  When I look at her (or her laundry) I want more out of life for her, my boys, my husband… all of us.

I never thought God would bless me with a little girl, but He did and her little pink basket of laundry inspires me to become a much better human being…

Keep believing my friends!

Love this!! You are so right. Have a pair of eyes looking at you make you want more for yourself and for them. They inspire us to be better people. It is our role and responsibility to be Godly examples. We can’t expect them to do right if we aren’t doing right. Starting from birth they learn their ways from us. Also, if we are obedient parents then God will bless our children.

I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. Psalms 37:25

Be blessed!
